Refund Policy

At The Indo Edit, we carefully select and inspect our products with attention to quality and detail. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may have the right to withdraw from your purchase or seek a remedy for defective or incorrect goods in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws in Germany and the European Union.
1. Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer within the European Union, you generally have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without providing a reason.
The withdrawal period begins on the day you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, receives the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please notify us within the applicable 14 day period by contacting:

You may use any clear written form to notify us of your withdrawal. You do not have to provide a reason.

2. Returning Your Order
After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal.
Returned items should be:
• Unused and in their original condition
• Unwashed and free from damage caused by use
• Returned with original tags and packaging where reasonably possible
• Packed securely to prevent damage during return transport
You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession.
If the value of the goods has been reduced because they were handled in a way that was not necessary to examine their nature, characteristics or functioning, you may be responsible for that reduction in value, where permitted by law.
3. Return Shipping Costs
Unless we have agreed otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods when exercising your statutory right of withdrawal.
If the goods are defective, damaged, or were incorrectly supplied, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer protection law and will not require you to bear costs that are legally our responsibility.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping your proof of postage until your return has been processed.
4. Refunds
Once you have exercised your right of withdrawal, we will refund the payments we have received from you in accordance with applicable law.
This includes the standard delivery costs you paid for the original shipment. If you selected a more expensive delivery option than the least expensive standard delivery method we offer, we are not required to refund the additional cost.
We will generally issue the refund using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless another method has been expressly agreed with you.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.
We will process the refund without undue delay and in accordance with the statutory requirements applicable to your withdrawal.
5. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective or different from the item you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:

Your statutory rights relating to defective or incorrectly supplied goods are not affected by this policy.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, a reduction in price, withdrawal from the contract or another legal remedy.
6. Handmade Products and Natural Variations
Many of our products are handcrafted using traditional techniques such as hand block printing and Chikankari embroidery.
Because of the handmade nature of these products, slight variations in colour, print placement, embroidery, texture, pattern and finish may occur.
These variations are a natural characteristic of handmade craftsmanship and do not constitute a defect where the product otherwise corresponds to its description and agreed characteristics.
7. Products Made to Customer Specifications
The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to certain products that are made according to the customer's specifications or are clearly personalised, where an applicable legal exemption applies.
If such an exemption applies to a particular product, this will be communicated to you before or during the purchase process where required.
8. Exchanges
We do not generally offer direct exchanges through our online return process.
If you would like a different product, colour or design, you may return the original item in accordance with your statutory rights and place a new order separately.
This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to defective or incorrectly supplied goods.
